Description
A unique, lightly calcified brown algae species that is found on shallow rocky coasts throughout Florida. We currently collect two unique species native to the Gulf of Mexico. This particular macro algae requires intense lighting and moderate flow as it grows in fairly shallow water in the tidal zone. Species of Padina are the only known calcified brown algae. Sold as a single specimen that is appoximately 4-6" in diameter.
